My name is Donna Rae Looney, and this is my website. I hope to make this a fun place where we can swap recipes and share things which interest us such as stories, poems, photos, household tips, just about anything that we find interesting.

This site is new, so it does not have a lot on it right now. I hope to add more on a regular basis as I get the time.

The Maxie Senior Citizens Center, located at the mouth of Convict Hollow in the Head Start Building, offers a delicious, home-cooked meal at a very reasonable price each Wednesday at 12 Noon. You do not have to be a senior citizen or a member to purchase a meal which can be enjoyed on-site or as a takeout.

It would be a good idea to call 531-7051 before you go to make sure the event has not been canceled due to some unforeseen circumstance. You can also call that number to find out what's on the menu or to order a takeout so they can have it ready for you when you stop by to pick it up. You can call anytime after 9 a.m.
